Its all starting up again all gympie have been fighting for is the stop the trashing of the Mary River to provide Brisbane with some fresh water. Since this now has been declared an environmental disaster it is now on the Agenda for the State Govt to plan to build a desalination plant at Marcoola by 2017.

A small group from Bli Bli are rallying up the communities from Lytton, Bribie Island, Tugun and interstate to start a campaign to stop the desalination plant.

I personally think God we just need more rain. So these campaigners can get out of Anna Blighs Hair.

I look forward to hearing more progress on this, I will up to date this blog on how it will effect the Sunshine Coast and it's oceanic waves and the beautiful marine life that is full of love and provides us with endless waves.
